HEALTHY STAFF

Our staff have repeatedly endured management’s preaching of Dallas Maids’ Coronavirus & Flu Policies and Procedures. Though our zealousness may have been overdone as the cleaning staff has been more than willing to practicing our precautionary measures. Frankly, they are scared and are determined to keep their families safe!  Fortunately all are healthy except for one with seasonal allergies. She has been staying home.

COVID-19 KILLING DISINFECTANT HAS ARRIVED

We are happy announce our EPA-Registered, hospital cleaner has finally arrived. The initial order was delayed however we quickly found another source that was able to deliver it quickly.

This disinfection extra will be free of charge as long as the pandemic lasts!

A VISIT FROM DALLAS MAIDS IS SAFER THAN EVER

Dallas Maids has been a leader in the home cleaning industry, developing cleaning systems to help keep our clients healthy and provide a safer home using our professional grade, EPA-registered, hospital cleaner that kills 99.999% Covid-19 virus along with other pathogens.

Is it safe to have Dallas Maids in my home?
Yes. Compared to other jobs, our professional cleaners have minimal social interaction with the public. Further, we have implemented strict social distancing policies that limit their contact with one another and the public. Our staff now goes directly to our clients’ homes, bypassing the office. When they arrive, our staff will treat the commonly touched surfaces in your home with a virucide and sanitizer. As the Covid-19 is actually pretty easy to kill, this should suffice. But as an extra precaution, we will also use an EPA certified disinfectant that is certified to kill 99.9999% of all pathogens, including emerging pathogens like the Covid-19. Our processes will make your home safer, and reduce the risk of exposure from pathogens that may have been introduced to your home from outside sources such as social interactions, deliveries, and more.

What additional safety measures have you taken?
We think one of the most important safety measures we have in place is our flexible attendance policy, sick pay, and Paid Time Off. If an employee is not well or a friend and family member near them is not well, they know we cannot have them at work, regardless of how minor the symptoms. Their job is secure and will be paid from the time they have earned and accrued.

We are asking the same of all of our clients. If you are not well in any way let us know in order to temporarily cancel service. We cannot clean spaces that have had suspected or confirmed cases of Covid-19. We are also not serving who’s been ill within the past 14 days.

Also, If you have traveled out of the country recently please let us know. Dallas Maids will wait 14 days until resuming service.

You will not be charged a cancellation fee if you are ill, if you have been in contact with someone that is or became ill, or if you have recently returned traveled out of the country.

What about your tools and equipment?
We are securing a large supply of personal protective equipment for our staff including hand sanitizers, gloves, and shoe covers. If you prefer your cleaner to use a mask in your home, just ask. We can add that to your cleaning protocol.

Only clean tools that have been disinfected are used in your home. We send our teams with a clean and disinfected set of tools for each house. We sanitize the vacuum between homes as well.

Cleaning cloths and mops are where we differ from other cleaning companies. We have always believed that only clean cloths and mops should enter a client’s home. At Dallas Maids when a cloth is used it is immediately taken out of service. Our mops are soaked in a cleaning solution. After being used, they are removed from service for the day. We have always emphasized safety and efficiency in our cleaning process.

Are you cleaning spaces with confirmed Covid-19 cases?
No. We will not serve any homes or spaces with confirmed or suspected Covid-19 cases at this time. Current guidance specify it is safe to do so 14 days after the last symptoms have passed.

Do the products you use to kill the Covid-19?
We have added a disinfecting step, free of charge during the pandemic. Our professional-grade, EPA-registered hospital disinfectant kills 99.999% of corona-family viruses along with other pathogens.

Why is cleaning important right now?
When a surface is soiled or dirty, it provides a breeding ground for pathogens to adhere and thrive. A thoroughly cleaned and disinfected surface makes it much harder for a pathogen like the Covid-19 to adhere. We know that it likes metals, plastics, and solid non-porous surfaces best. It does not adhere well to vertical surfaces but settles and remains on horizontal surfaces for up to 3 days depending on the type of surface. Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces regularly are a vital deterrent to the incidental spread of Covid-19.

Thank you for giving us a chance to help keep your home safe and sparkling!
